Podcast: Phone It In on the Men in Black

Rooster and Stoney dig into the high strangeness of the lore surrounding the real life Men in Black on the latest episode of Phone It In.

If any of the Men In Black are reading this, I promise I’ve never seen an alien and there’s absolutely no reason for you to come visit my house and freak out my cat. Rooster and I are not a threat at all. Okay, now that that’s out of the way, I can talk about the milestone 50th episode of Phone It In!

How coincidental that episode 50 happened to line up perfectly with our annual spooky season deep dive. We’ve done some fun episodes in this spot, dating all the way back to our podcasts on The Mothman and Skinwalker Ranch. We keep that October tradition going with a discussion about…hell, I don’t know what you’d even call ’em….a group of beings….that have been spotted throughout history in association with events of pure unbridled high strangeness.

Of course I’m talking about the “Men In Black,” and I don’t mean Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, though my uninformed tinfoil hat theory is that the real men in black funded the movie Men In Black so that any time those words were uttered people would think of the movie and so the real life sightings would eventually fall out of the world’s collective conscience. Like, if you Google “men in black,” all that pops up is the movie. CONVENIENT! From late night visits about things that don’t warrant late night visits to qualities that just don’t seem human, the less I say, the better. If you’re going into this episode completely dark on the subject, buckle up. You’re in for a wild ride.
