What online debate is more annoying, pineapple on pizza or die hard is or isn’t a Christmas movie argument?
Answer:
I think they’re both super annoying because in the end, I just feel like “do whatever you want – who cares?” But, it feels like people arguing Die Hard is a Christmas movie are particularly tenacious in their argument, and I simply could not care less. I’m not watching that movie at Christmastime, but if you want to, go for it. Just stop fucking yelling about it, please.

Do you have a favorite creepy or horror story that feels very winter-y? If that makes sense

Am I corny if I say The Raven? Because that’s immediately what came to mind. I like to read it every winter. I want to write a good creepy story set in the winter because there’s something inherently lonely and unsettling about how dark and quiet the world is in general during that time of the year.

I’m a big JC Latham fan – I don’t know if he can slide over to left tackle easily, but all of the draft analysts seem to think it’s no problem at all even though we’ve seen it backfire on the Titans time and time again when they try to slide dudes all around the line. I have a hard time believing Titans fans would be excited about a right tackle in the first round, but if they don’t end up picking in the top 10, I don’t know that anyone from the class of left tackles below Alt and Fashanu would be a better value than Latham, who I think is ready to be a starting right tackle in the league. Maybe I’m on an island with that one.

I really want a man bag. A satchel, if you will. I absolutely hate carrying shit in my pockets, and I don’t care what anyone thinks about my appearance. I tried going the fanny pack route, but I’m too fat for that to be comfortable. So, I’m hoping to get a man purse this Christmas.

Man…I hate sounding pretentious like “oh I’m too busy to watch programs, Tres,” but the truth is that I haven’t really streamed anything new other than the awful new Netflix Christmas movies with my family coming to town and spending time with them over the last two weeks. I still have to finish season 2 of The Bear, which I love. And, I’m dying to watch May December on Netflix. But, to be honest, between the vacation time I’ve taken the last two weeks, trying to stay caught up at the day job, and trying to wind up all of my business tasks with SoBros Network for the year, I’m just trying to keep my head above water for now.

Oh, man – there are quite a few. I love spiked hot chocolate…I just had a cup of gingerbread hot chocolate with a shot of spiced rum in it from the cafe atop Lookout Mountain at Rock City, and it was PHENOMENAL. I like a Moscow Mule this time of year, too. But, the king of all holiday beverages, to me, is Jack Daniel’s Winter Cider. Chill that bottle and pour a little bit in a wine glass. Just sit, sip, and enjoy a movie or just the sound of a lit fireplace. Tis the season, baby!
