Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re talking about a fantastic summer fragrance, Aloe & Agave.
If you’ve been keeping up with my Yankee Candle Reviews for awhile now, first of all, thank you. Second of all, you probably know that I’m a sucker for nostalgia. Most of my reviews are of candles that are a little older on the Yankee Candle timeline. I rarely review the new stuff. Well, NUH UH! Not this month! This month, we’re digging into one of the signature fragrances from this year’s summer release from the G.O.A.T.!
Aloe & Agave is a welcome addition the pantheon of summer fragrances that Yankee Candle has put out. it’s a vast catalog, and in my opinion, there are far more misses among the summer seasonals than any other season. We’re not going to count this candle among them though. In fact, we’re going to add Aloe & Agave, with its fresh sweet tones that remind one of wide open spaces, to the list of instant classics.
Recommended Burning: The strife of life has worn you down. You’re in desperate need of a vacation, and craving fresh air and the open road, you land on a trip to the great wide open southwest. By the time you hit New Mexico, you’re feeling so liberated that you unbutton your blouse and toss it to the side of the road. You arrive at your hotel topless, but that’s okay. They understand. They hand you a brand new jar of Aloe & Agave and you burn it as soon as you get to your room.
Check out the Yankee Candle archives here on SoBros Network for my extensive backlog of Yankee Candle reviews! Also, be sure to check out my comprehensive list of the top 100 Yankee Candle fragrances of all time. I worked on that thing for forever, so any read is appreciated, thank you. That is all.
