Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…

Question:

Answer:

  1. I’ve actually already seen Blade 2 – I watched all three, so…
  2. I won’t be surprised if Josh Simmons is the top actual tackle in this draft class, though Cam Williams seems to have all of the buzz. No one’s really talking about Simmons, but he’s good. I’m a fan of Josh Conerly too. Right now, I’m leaning those two guys…but I don’t think Will Campbell or Kelvin Banks will be tackles at the next level. On the right side, people seem to think that Emery Jones Jr. and Jonah Savaiianea will kick inside, but I like their tape and would like to see them get a chance at tackle. Bottom line – this class is littered with college tackles who will be playing guard next season.
  3. Still not answering!

Question:

Answer:

Absolutely – I’m a big fan of James Gunn and think he’ll add some much-needed juice to the DC properties. I loved Cavill – that guy looked like he was built in a lab to play Superman.

Question:

Answer:

Feels gross to say it, but I think I’d go Jaxson Dart in the middle rounds.

Question:

Answer:

Easy – I love Lord of the Rings and would want to spend the rest of my life with them….so marry. I’m fucking Harry Potter, and I’m killing Star Wars because I don’t think Star Wars is good.

Question:

Answer:

Hopefully, a lot of nothing. I think we’re going to go catch A Complete Unknown. But, otherwise, I don’t even want to get out of my pajamas. I’m in dire need of some rest, and this time of year is always my opportunity to do so.

Question:

Answer:

Will. Levis.

Question:

Answer:

Penix and McCarthy haven’t even played yet, Jorge! Also, why would we think they didn’t believe in Levis? From everything we saw back in the summer time, they absolutely believed in Levis. Nonetheless, to answer your question, I actually did say at one point last draft cycle that I wouldn’t have hated the team drafting Bo Nix in the 2nd round. What I didn’t see coming was all six of those guys going in the first round.

Question:

Answer:

It’s a great question, fantasy account! Easy answer though – I wasn’t a movie kid. I didn’t watch a lot of movies growing up. I didn’t really get into movies until around high school. That’s what we did on Friday nights back in the day – we’d squad up, head to Opry Mills, see a movie, and then eat at Applebee’s. So, anything prior to the year 2000, I was totally lost on. It’s only been in recent years that I’ve made an effort to go back and watch any of the classics I might’ve missed, including Die Hard.

Keep the questions coming – catch y’all next week!
