Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…

Question:

Answer:

I can eat a whole block of this stuff:

Question:

Answer:

Optimal for what, Ryan?!?! Hide and seek? Not so much, but I bet that guy can change a light bulb when you need him to.

Question:

Answer:

Long overdue for one of the most underrated tag teams of the 90s. I’ve been lobbying for a Vader Vick wing of the Hall of Fame ever since 2008.

Question:

Answer:

  1. I have no idea – whatever smells the best at the store. Right now, I have a bag of some cherry somethin’ or orther.
  2. “Cannolis are good.” No, cannolis suck!
  3. First of all, I’m not setting an alarm for Sunday morning. I’m going to sleep in. I’m going to enjoy my coffee, and I might read a book. After that, I’m going to catch up on my Yankee Candle project – I have some photos of candles without poems…I have some poems written for candles I don’t have photos of. Time to get organized and see what my count is at.
  4. I’m a shower guy on a daily basis, but I do love a good shower to unwind when I’m stressed out and slow time down a bit.

Question:

Answer:

Sai’vion Jones, the EDGE out of LSU, because he also acts like a feral barn cat.

Question:

Answer:

Not too sure myself – maybe the injury concerns are too grave for NFL teams to take a chance on him. But, I’m with you. He’s an underrated guy that is shift, has a nice compact build, and has some speed to accelerate when he gets the open lane.

Question:

Answer:

I’m going to be a basic bitch – I want to be able to see the future. Then, I’m taking notes and hitting every parlay I place this fall.

Question, from John:

Mailbag: If you were kidnapped the week of the NFL Draft and your liberators were instructed to engage in small talk to avoid shock-inducing retrospection, what picks would have you upset like this if they were to be casually relayed following your release from captivity?

Answer:

“With the 35th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select………Tetairoa McMillain, wide receiver, Arizona.”

Question:

Answer:

Team 3 is *mopping the floor* with these other two teams – my personal pick of quarterbacks…two of the top three running backs…clearly the best receiving corps..I’m not the biggest Savaiinaea fan, but they still have the best OL…linebackers and corners are the best of the bunch, too. The only boxes I’d check in favor of other teams are tight end (Warren), defensive tackle (Graham and Grant), and safety (Moore and Starks).

Between the remaining two teams, I’m going Team 1. Their defensive front is going to be an issue compared to Team 2’s monstrous advantage, but everything else, I’d check in Team 1’s favor. Love those three corners together.

Keep the questions coming – catch y’all next week!

This might be controversial among the candle community, but Stoney is going to show some love to the candles at Wal-Mart today.
