Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…
Question:
pspspspsps
— Weekend at Burners (@GreatOldOne1337) May 14, 2025
Answer:
Nothing to add here. I just love this comment.
Question:
Vibes check?
— eddie (@wondernomma) May 14, 2025
Answer:
Vibes are awesome right now, Eddie. I’ve taken my foot off the gas the last couple of weeks, and am feeling quite rested and rejuvenated. I’m starting to prep for the upcoming season and lookin’ to get back into my tape grinding ways next week.
Question:
With Memorial Day not too far away, how do you gussy up a grilled hotdog?
— Ed Helinski 🇺🇸🇵🇱 🌴 (@MrEd315) May 14, 2025
Answer:
If I have access to it, I’m going with sauerkraut, chili, and jalapeños. Somebody bring the Tums. If only the basics are available, I’m going relish and mustard.
Question:
Is there a rougher two game start than the titans are looking at?
— eddie (@wondernomma) May 14, 2025
Answer:
Two of the best defenses in the game certainly make for a tough start, but I actually dig it, Eddie. Let’s throw Cam Ward right into the fire right away. Sink or swim. Stylistically speaking, these defenses are built a little differently from a personnel standpoint too. He’ll get the chance to go up against a solid secondary in week 1 and a fearsome defensive front in week 2.
Question:
Why are we both so damn handsome?
— BostonNooga (@BostonNooga) May 14, 2025
Answer:
I don’t know, Ben! But, I’ll say this – it ain’t easy bein’ this pretty. Do you ever get tired of it? I do sometimes.
Question:
Based solely on vibes, which non-Nashville cities would you like to live in for a year?
— Ethan Norfleet (@EthanNorfleet) May 14, 2025
Answer:
Oh, man – that’s a great question, Ethan. I’m 100% going Chattanooga and Knoxville, but that feels like a cop out since they’re still so close to Nashville. I’m going to rattle off a few – Apalachicola (FL), Sausalito (CA), Roanoke (VA), Asheville (NC), Cincinnati (OH), New York City, Washington DC, and Park City (UT).
Question:
How do you pronounce Ayomanor?
— Jake Robertson (@GloryDaySports) May 14, 2025
Answer:
All due respect to JT, but I’m not trusting the PA guy for the Savannah Bananas. I went back and watched more interviews with Ayomanor after Tuesday’s Hot Read and in every single one….EVERY SINGLE ONE…they said EYE-oh-manner.
Question:
Explain why the movie "Edge of Tomorrow" was critically underrated
— d good (@dgood2075288732) May 14, 2025
Answer:
I never saw Edge of Tomorrow, so I deferred to Brandon on this one…
I don’t know if I can explain it, BUT it’s a stellar sci-fi movie that surprised me and is actually getting a sequel.
