Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…

Question, from Scoob on Twitter:

What is it going to take for the Titans to be relevant this season?

Answer:

They have to start winning some games, Scoob. I mean, this team can’t get off to another slow start this year. I feel like that eventually caught up with ’em last year. If there’s any hope for 2025, they need to win a few early.

Question, from Canadian Titan on Twitter:

If you could give your 15 year old self any advice or say anything to him, what would it be ?

What about your 25 year old self ?

If you could ask a question of your 45 year old self, what would it be ?

What about your 55 year old self?

Answer:

  1. Take school seriously – don’t just drift through classes because you can. Try more extracurricular stuff and you might find your passion sooner.
  2. Stick with it – it’s going to be tough at times, but you’ll get to where you want to be eventually. And, for fucks sake, save more money.
  3. How I badly do I need to get moving again? Does it get any easier to get back into shape?
  4. How much money should I be throwing into the 401k right now? Also, who wins the next 17 Super Bowls?

Question, from Eddie on Twitter:

Have you seen the original Naked gun. And thoughts on the new one coming out?

If you were challenged to a duel, you must complete. would you choose pistols, swords, or fisticuffs?

Early bet on the preds or titans being the better team to rebound from disaster seasons?

Answer:

  1. I have not, but I’d like to watch it before the new one comes out.
  2. Fisticuffs is my best chance – no clue how to work a gun, not nimble enough with a sword, but man, if I can get my hands on somebody, I might have a shot.
  3. I’m going to say the Titans because if they’re right about Cam Ward, it should have an exponential impact on this team. Poor quarterback play impacted so many losses last season that if they can get elevated play there, who knows what could happen?

Question, from Titans Homer on Twitter:

Who is the greatest WWE Champion of all time & why is it Jey Uso?

Answer:

I’m still going with John Cena, and I am now officially ready for the Jey Uso run to be over with.

Question, from Jacob on Twitter:

Rank your 5 Best States. And 5 Worst States if you feel so inclined.

Answer:

  1. Tennessee
  2. New Jersey
  3. California
  4. Florida
  5. North Carolina

The worst I’ve ever been to is actually Missouri – absolutely nothing to do, it’s completely flat from St. Louis to Kansas City, and everyone there seems miserable.

Question, from d good on Twitter:

Is anyone on a better run than Dirty Dom Mysterio? Rhea Ripley to Liv Morgan and now Roxanne Perez?!?!?! Dude is on an incomparable heater. Maybe he is Eddie Guerrero’s kid……

Answer:

For once, I agree with the application of the term ‘generational’ here.

Question, from Ed on Twitter:

What’s better – a flight of craft beer or whiskey?

Answer:

Oh, whiskey easily – a sip of beer is just enough to frustrate you. But, you can make due with a good sip of whiskey. It stays with you longer.

Question:

1) Happy belated or early anniversary. I don’t know when it is, but unless I nailed the day, I think that will cover whenever it falls

2) What percentage chance do you see the Titans keeping 7 WRs this year, given Callahan’s history, and could either the two 4th rd rooks be cut?

3) Do you fish? If you do, which do you prefer – deep sea, shore, lake, or fly fishing in a River? Bait AND beer of choice for said fishing excursion?

4) Do you eat seafood? If so, which is your favorite and why? And if not, also why?

5) Favorite Sesame Street character?

6) Which would you rather fight: Alita: Battle Angel, M3gan, Terminator (Original), or Evil T1000?

7) So you hate carving pumpkins…thoughts on dyeing Easter Eggs?

8) Why are fiction books not a waste of time if video games are a waste of time?

Answer:

  1. Thank you – you got it! Close enough!
  2. I think it’s more probably that they keep 7 than last year, sure, but I still think 6 is the sweet spot. I won’t be surprised if they go with 7, though. I’d give it a 49% chance. I would be absolutely stunned if either Ayomanor or Dike was cut. Not only do I expect them to make the team, I expect them to be contributors on offense by season’s end.
  3. I don’t fish. I tried fishing for years, but I realized I just liked being out on the lake/river and not actually fishing. So, I just stopped one day.
  4. I love seafood – nothing beats a good crab cake, especially from Barnacle Bill’s in Rumson, New Jersey. I love shrimp, too.
  5. I always vibed with Grover.
  6. I’m going to say M3gan having not seen that movie or Alita: Battle Angel. I just can’t imagine fucking with the Terminators.
  7. I hate carving pumpkins because it activates my gag reflex – smells awful and feels slimy. I can’t even remember the last time I dyed an Easter egg. I have no thoughts on the practice at all.
  8. I honestly don’t even remember the bit here…just that there was one. Uhhhh….books don’t hurt your eyes?

Keep the questions coming – catch y’all next week!
