Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re getting into the fall spirit with a whiff of Autumn Daydream.

If I haven’t said it by now, allow me to say it as plain as day: early fall is about the outdoor fragrances for me. Save your pumpkins and cinnamons for November. I have to have my dead leaves and the dirty ground this time of year – Autumn Woods (if I can find it), Woodland Road Trip, Autumn Leaves – that sort of thing. Thankfully, I have found yet another early fall banger to add to the rotation in Autumn Daydream.

First of all, I love the look and the design of this candle. It’s one of the old ones, so I got my hands on this before it was rebooted as a part of Yankee’s recent rebrand. So, it has this beautiful burgundy marbled wax. It has the typical notes of clove and dead leaves that are quintessential for the time of year, but I think what makes this one unique is the note of eucalyptus that gives is a fresh sort of vibe. It’s a distinct fragrance for early fall, one that I won’t mind putting in the rotation for years to come.

Recommended Burning: Driving through the mountains, you stand and stretch out of the sunroof to feel the cool air overtake you. Your partner laughs behind the wheel, so amused by your carefree nature and appreciation of the great outdoors. You decide to lift your shirt and let the cool fall breeze refresh your bare breasts. It feels a little far, but you’re just so excited that it’s finally starting to cool off that you can’t help yourself. You look down to see your partner is masturbating to the sight of your bare breasts. You’re regretting this move. This can’t be safe for anyone involved and people can see what is happening because you’re only going 20 MPH through the park. Suddenly, blue lights are flashing behind you. Your partner is now reaching for a gun and you don’t know what’s about to happen. This is when you should burn Autumn Daydream.
