Man, back in they heyday of SoBros Network, when life was a little slower, and we all had a little more time, I would sit down and hammer out a content plan for Spooky Season in August. We’d tag team it, and I always felt like it produced some of our best work. Maybe they’re just personal favorites, but I always thought the style and vibes of the season brought out the best in us. As things change and evolve as they always inevitably do, I never want to lose sight of how much fun October has always been at SoBros Network. And, to me, these pieces are worth remembering and celebrating.
Halloween Classics on SoBros Network

- 2018: Rooster recounts the tale of one of the most legendary cryptids of all time, the Point Pleasant Mothman.
- 2019: The best bit of fiction we have on this site: The Widow’s Mountain.
- 2019: Brittany shared one of the scariest true stories I’ve ever read in a piece titled ‘The York Road Stranger.‘
- 2019: Rooster and I did a Phone It In episode on Skinwalker Ranch.
- 2020: Brandon, Brittany, and I got together to rank horror franchises: Vick’s Flicks Podcast: Ranking Horror Franchises
- 2020: I power ranked the best Goosebumps books and the top 10 cryptids.
- 2021: Some of our friends and I provided a few outside-the-box movie suggestions for this time of year.
- 2021: I wrote about this king housing an entire sweet potato pie in a screening of The Addams Family 2.
- 2022: Brittany, Jesse, and I ate a bunch of different pumpkin-flavored stuff.
- 2022: A few of us got together and did one of the ghost tours at The Hermitage, and I wrote about the experience.
- 2023: Spooky Season Viewing For Comic Book Fans – There’s an interesting genre of…like…I don’t know how else to describe it…”comic book horror.” So, I made a list of some of my favorite flicks that borrow vibes from the comic book world to check out in case you haven’t already.
