Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re getting fresh in the great outdoors with Rustling Rain.

At least in my candle circle, it’s not a hot take to say that this rebrand is total ass. Rustling Rain is the fourth of the new waxes that I’ve burned in my house, and yet again, it’s another of the new waxes that doesn’t throw. I’m so bummed. The fragrance itself is awesome, as you’ll see in the video below that I recorded before I actually burned this thing. Rustling Rain, in theory, plays well in that late summer early fall window. In practice, you have to have the wicks practically in your nose to smell it. Sorry, am I coming across as too bitter in this piece? Maybe next time. We’ll keep trying.

Recommended Burning: I don’t know, the more I dig into these rebranded candles, the more I lean “just don’t burn them.” It used to be better.
