Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re looking back at one of the more traditional holiday institutions, Christmas Eve
.

We’re only a week away from the rapid approach of the Christmas holiday. When I look at the calendar, what we’d call “Q4” in the business world really is the most wonderful time of year. It’s times like these that I like to sit back, relax and reflect upon the year that was. I think about the Christmases of my youth, spending time with friends and family, and all of the gifts I got. I’m a fortunate man, and something about the nostalgia of this holiday draws that out of me. So, when we’re talkin’ nostalgia and tradition, I have to have something burning that matches that energy. Christmas Eve fits into that category alongside some of the Yankee Candle classics – Home For The Holidays, Singing Carols, Silver Bells, etc. – it’s not some Christmas tree. It’s not some sugar cookie. I don’t know how else to describe it other than it just smells like Christmas.

Also, yeah, the fucking file was corrupted, but this was recorded nine months ago and I don’t feel like re-recording it because I’m exhausted here at the end of the year. Sorry.

Recommended Burning: There’s a fire burning in the fireplace. You found an old vinyl album of Christmas songs that you decided to spin on the record player. You have a nice full-bodied bourbon in your hand, and you’re admiring the Christmas tree illuminating the living room. You’re thankful for all you’ve accomplished this year, and you’re grateful for your health and the health of your loved ones. You strike a match and light up Christmas Eve. Look at that – you thought I was going to be vulgar and gross like I always am in this section of the review, didn’t you? Well, I got your ass. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
