Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re hitting the courts to discuss Lucky Sweater.

Welcome to midsummer on Yankee Candle Reviews. It is among my favorite times of the year because midsummer means late summer is right around the corner, and after that, it’s time for fall. Yes, I keep track of all this inside my insane brain. Today’s candle comes from that line of sports-themed summer candles Yankee put out last summer. Lucky Sweater, to me, does smell like the great outdoors….like stepping out to that court amid the fresh air of summer. I get a slightly floral touch, with the slightest hint of citrus. That’s what makes it such a perfect midsummer candle.

My vacation is over – I’m not going to the beach again any time soon. I don’t need coconuts and saltwater. My brain is starting to shift towards pumpkin and apple, so the pina coladas and fruity cocktails are in the rearview mirror too. Lucky Sweater hits all the right notes this time of year for being a tribute to the competitive spirit while encapsulating the smell of fresh summer air and sweat in a nutshell. A fantastic addition to the summer rotation.

Recommended Burning: You’ve endured some hard times in recent years, but you’ve finally worked your way back to the finals of a tournament. Opposite you stands your former best friend, whose wife you just slept with in a random parking lot. She used to be an icon at tennis, but an injury sidelined her career. You have some mixed up feelings for your best friend, but you put that all to the side for an epic match. That is when you burn Lucky Sweater.
