What’s your personal theme for the new year?

Answer:
For me, it’s “back on our feet.” The changes in the world that took place in 2020 really blindsided me – there was a lot of time spent stressing over what the hell to do last year. That stress eventually led to burnout, and I struggled to find motivation off and on throughout the year. It sucked.
I’m not one to believe in “new year, new me,” and I damn sure don’t believe that anything is going to change just because we flipped the calendar over. But, I took my holiday break as an opportunity to rest and refocus. I’ve adjusted expectations for the year and in doing so, feel I’ve created the opportunity to get back into a healthier routine. I’m prepared to navigate the current state of the world a little bit better, and hopefully, I can use that to get back to focusing on growth.

Did you take up modeling during the holiday break? Are you trying to snag the GQ cover?

I’m so glad you noticed, Patrick. That is actually one of my goals for 2021. I’m just really hoping someone at GQ reads this week’s mailbag and notices that.
