Someone From the Buffalo Bills Should’ve Been Ejected Last Night

As far as rage quitting goes, the Buffalo Bills could really stand to step their game up.

Listen, y’all – I am a champion of sore losers. I’ve flipped over my fair share of Monopoly boards because I was losing. I’ve walked away from kickball games because things weren’t going my way. I damn sure know a thing or two about rage quitting, because I’m one of the best at it. Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. I need to win like I need to breathe. Sometimes, it just feels good to let that frustration go, no matter how big of an ass it makes you look. That just comes with the territory – I can live with looking like an ass. I can live with people thinking I’m extra af. I don’t care – I want to win, and when I don’t, I’m going to let it out. So, when I see some lukewarm rage quitting from the Buffalo Bills last night, I’m going to be critical – that’s my job as a journalist.

I can certainly understand the frustration. The Kansas City Chiefs were very obviously clearly the better team last night. They were downright dominant in the sense that it never felt like the Chiefs were going to lose this game. Even when the Bills jumped up 9-0, I was thinking, “all it’s going to take is one score and then the damn’s going to break.” That’s what happened. Despite their best efforts, nothing the Bills did worked. It was one of those games that you just throw your hands up and say “tonight ain’t the night, y’all.

In other words, it was RIPE for some petty rage quitting and dumb chippy penalties. I was 100% there for it, and things finally boiled over to this point….

That’s what started it all. After that, Allen’s offensive line came barreling in and the flags started to fly. Somehow the penalties offset, even though there was only one on the Chiefs and three on the Bills.

But, come on man. I’m a huge Josh Allen guy. I was big on the Bills before the season started, and thought Allen had all the physical traits to become a franchise quarterback in the league. But, this is something you absolutely have to work on. I’m all for the petty rage quit, but this is baby weewee energy.

First off, throwing the ball when the guy’s not looking is a coward move. You wait ’til you can make eye contact, let him see the rage in your heart and let him see that you’re afraid of nothing and THEN you flick it right at his face. Let him know that you’re willing to accept the beating of a lifetime if he wants to act on it. That’s how much pain you’re in. Second of all, this isn’t a rage quit if you’re giving this guy a cute little doink off the helmet. You gotta lay that shit in. You gotta get that guy on your level so you can justify a scrap. These are just baby moves from Allen.

This is undoubtedly an area that he can improve on as he continues to progress as a quarterback in the NFL.

Look at Myles Garrett, for example. That dude swung a helmet at Mason Rudolph‘s Proud Boy ass and now he’s the Browns’ nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. Proof that you can be an excellent rage quitter and still be a good dude. Of course, it helps that Rudolph is so unlikable. But, I stand by my point.

Also, now that I’ve really fleshed this article idea out and put it onto paper, I feel like I should be responsible and say that I’m not really advocating for more rage in the NFL. That’s a joke, people. We have fun here.
