We need to talk about Age of Ultron. I liked it better than the first avengers after watching it again a few times and here’s why for your kind consideration:This is peak Avengers team action right here… they are all seasoned now with epic looks… Captain America has several tear jerking speeches … Thor and Cap show off how they are easily the most valuable tag team on the entire Avengers roster several times … black widows motorcycle scene where she scoops caps shield gave me a chubby… Hawkeye avoids mind control while the rest of the team gets taken down … I mean what a bad ass he is … dude goes toe to toe with galactic level threats with nothing but a bow and arrow and some gadgets … Hulk vs Hulkbuster was amazing … the vision is at his true power level in this movie and not just a jobber they don’t know what to do with … the battle of Sokovia highlighted every member of the team gracefully and effortlessly… I mean to me it’s top notch in the MCU. It’s also cool seeing the maximoff twins being won over to the Avengers side … also a lot of funny one liners … I remember not liking it very much when I saw it for the first time but I have been going through the MCU in chronological order and it’s awesome to watch the story unfold that way…
Oh and I forgot to mention the epic Thor, Vision, Iron man combo blast to fry Ultron’s vibranium form’s circuits causing the rest of the bots to scatter … freaking awesome take down

Here’s my recent re-rank of the MCU, in which I have Avengers: Age of Ultron ranked as the 4th worst MCU movie, for reference.
Now, let’s start here – I actually recently re-watched this movie, too. Admittedly, I caught myself enjoying it a lot more on the re-watch than I did upon seeing it for the first time. Knowing what we know happens to the Avengers throughout the course of Avengers: Endgame, it made what I thought at the time were a bunch of corny and campy one-liners a little more charming. I felt like I was watching our heroes through a lens of, “oh you poor naive Avengers – you have no idea what’s coming.” So, it feels weird to say this about a movie that’s only six years old, but it kind of felt nostalgic, and I dug that. Also, I’m a Thor absolutist. I just about flipped my shit in the theater when Vision lifted Mjolnir. I was ready to boycott Marvel for the rest of my days. But, once you get to know the character all the way through WandaVision, it isn’t so bad. Upon second viewing, I absolutely LOVED that scene between Vision and Ultron at the end of the movie. The same can be said for Wanda – like…this is where we first really see her trauma on display, and we really had no idea how important that would be at the time. Looking at it through a modern lens made that moment feel massive. I had completely forgotten about how badass Hulk vs. Hulkbuster actually was. And, Andy Serkis as Klaw (Klaue in the MCU, I believe) was just phenomenal.
So, while I’m willing to concede that your larger point is a valid one – I do think this movie has gotten better with age – Cap, Black Widow, and Hawkeye have never really moved the needle for me, and they still don’t, really. I still stand by my ranking (probably should go back and watch The Incredible Hulk at some point, too), but I’ve found that ranking the MCU movies is a lot like ranking ice cream. Is chocolate better than strawberry? Sure, but strawberry ice cream is still pretty damn enjoyable. Zach, I’m curious about your take on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – it’s been a highly debated show among SoBros Network and friends over the last few weeks. Hit me up.

Answer:
FU – that was always my finisher back in the backyard wrestling days. Easy to pull off, looked good, and usually pretty safe to execute. I say usually because I did dump someone on their head one time. I always loved wrestling Brandon because he would sell every single move as if he was fucking dead. A simple punch to the face? BOOM – unconscious. A body slam? Broken back. So, I see that in this photo – I hadn’t even done the move yet, but he was already selling like he was dead, arms and legs limp. It was great. Sometimes, I wish we could bring a SoBros backyard fed show to the masses on our YouTube channel, but we’re all way too old for that shit these days.
At one point, I was working on an idea for a fake wrestling fed that would just be a comedy show on our YouTube channel. But, it never came to fruition because we started talking about doing an ACTUAL wrestling show at some point and didn’t want to confuse people about what was real and what wasn’t. Maybe I ought to kick that idea back up since it’s obvious a SoBros wrasslin’ show won’t be happening (in the immediate future, anyway).

Answer:
Super easy one for me – I detest crab legs. I love crab meat, don’t get me wrong – it tastes wonderful, but crab legs are just a pain in the ass. What a tease. Imagine making me work that hard for just a little lump of meat. Crab legs are borderline offensive. I would kill them every chance I get. I like fish, but I don’t really eat it often enough to warrant a longtime relationship with it – so I’m gonna fuck it. Then, I’m marrying shrimp. I eat shrimp at least once a week. Undoubtedly my favorite seafood – right up there with crab cakes.

Absolutely – big fan of Nimesh Patel…really sarcastic dude that has a hell of a resumé. Found the guy on Tik Tok, of all places. He’s coming to Zanies on 6/22, and I already have my tickets.
