Well, Lollapalooza has come and gone – 400,000 people flocked to Grant Park in Chicago for the four-day music festival. I haven’t been able to keep up with all of the crazy shit that’s come across my social media feed from the show. But, I’m still willing to bet that if the delta variant wasn’t the big winner from the weekend, it was most definitely this sign language interpreter who was tasked with signing along to Megan Thee Stallion‘s rendition of “WAP,” which in case you didn’t know, stands for (W)et (A)ss (P)ussy. Let’s get to the highlights.

Get that work in, hot damn! I don’t know about you guys, but I actually gagged during the “I wanna gag, I wanna choke” lyrics. That’s how good this sign language interpreter did. She made me feel like I was choking on cock, just as the song’s lyrics would imply. I didn’t know that we had signs for such debauchery, but I’m glad that we do. This is 2021. But, let’s forget about the content of this song for just a second. Can you imagine the skill it would take to sign along to a rap song? My God – that is an impressive skill. I can’t even imagine how fast you’d have to move your hands. But, to get into it the way she did – I feel the song. I can even hear the lyrics – that’s the wild part. Watching this clip made me feel more than actually listening to the song (…and no, I’m talking about feeling the music in my soul, not gettin’ a boner. Real mature, guys). Bravo.
“WAP” was a cultural phenomenon after dropping last summer – hopefully, this will give it the traction it needs to keep going, much like Usher’s “Yeah!” did back in 2004. Yes, I think it’s that good of a song. It’s not often that you experience an auditory sensation that makes you both nod your head -AND- comfortably and sensually rub one out. Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B – if you’re reading this, just know I think y’all put out a classic.
Also, wouldn’t it be funny if we found out that this wasn’t actually a sign language interpreter and was just some woman that ran up on stage and started acting WAP out?
