A Tide superfan named Annette made it all the way to the big wheel and dropped a primal “ROLL TIDE, ROLL” that shook the studio!
Drew Carey even shouts out Nick Saban.
Unfortunately, her spin went the way of ‘Bama in the National Championship game … she lost.”
That’s right, Annette! We hear you loud and clear. You’re on a national stage, the damned Price is Right, and you just gotta shout out God’s Country – the land of the Tide. Sweet Dixie…..and your husband and all that, too.
But, hey – that’s how we do things in the South. It’s husbands, children, grandchildren, Lisa, and the Crimson Tide. In that order.
Also, Drew wondering what Coach Saban would do is completely asinine. Coach Saban would never be caught dead on The Price is Right. He is on the grind 24/7. He’s out recruiting – ain’t no time for spinning a giant sparkly wheel. Get real, Drew.
Finally, screw you, TMZ – no need to open up old wounds. No need to bring up that National Championship. No need to drop the elbow on poor Annette here. She lost. You don’t have to stick her face in it by basically saying, “You lost – JUST LIKE YOUR PRECIOUS TIDE!”
