We all know that Grizz is one of the most electric mascots in the NBA. He adds to and perpetuates a legacy of strong mascots from the state of Tennessee. Grizz caught a glimpse of fame after he put some poor soul through a table at a Memphis Grizzlies game. But, I’m very pleased to report that he’s since upped his game. He’s still turning Grizzlies games into TLC matches straight out of the WWE playbook. But, now…instead of jumping off ladders, he’s jumping out of the nosebleeds:

I don’t know who that mascot is. Sure, the slightest bit of detective work would provide me with that information, but this is SoBros Network. Anyway, my point is that that mascot is likely dead, whoever it is.
Grizz just took that big leap of faith, delivered an A+ Swanton Bomb, and put that crowd into a frenzy. Did the table budge? Not one bit. That’s why I believe someone probably died in this exchange.
Someone needs to tip these mascots off to gimmicked tables so that doesn’t happen again.
Also, I love the very obviously concerned production guy looking over the rail at the end. When this video started, I thought Grizz was about to Swanton Bomb straight to the arena floor.
Almost stopped the video and everything before I noticed the table. So, it’s completely plausible this guy thought the very same thing.
In any event, Grizz is a world champion mascot and the NBA is better for it. But, maybe he should get some training under his belt just for future TLC matches at NBA games.
