In case you missed Lesson 1, you may review it here. Perhaps meth did not hit home to as many followers, so this one might be more relatable.

Authorities have seized the biggest shipment of cocaine recovered at the ports of New York and New Jersey in almost 25 years.

The massive bust Feb. 28 at the Port of New York/Newark in Elizabeth came after authorities checked a shipping container entering the country. They found 60 packages containing 3,200 pounds of a white powdery substance that proved to be cocaine, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a statement Monday.

The seizure, which has an estimated street value of $77 million, is the biggest cocaine bust at the ports since 1994 when about 6,600 pounds were seized, according to a CBP spokesman.

That’s right folks. The price of Columbian bam bam will be on the rise. Once again, let’s do the simple economics here. $77 million worth of supply removed with demand remaining equal, PRICE INCREASE!

Hopefully the lesson has stuck at this point and we can move a little more into this article.

$77 million!!! That is a ridiculous amount! Like, I can’t even fathom that amount. I assume it has to be a whole cargo container? Also how pissed is the guy who shipped this? We’ve all had a bad day, lost some money gambling, the stock market, buy something stupid. Never have you had a $77 million dollar loss…

Any suppliers with a business acumen, I would jump in the car and head north ASAP because like the old business saying, “buy low, sell and get everyone high.”
