Real Life Herbert the Pervert From Family Guy Under Fire for Trying to Help the Kids

Unfortunately, I can’t embed the video in this post, because Geek Street Society apparently doesn’t want people ripping off their shit on the Internet. That’s fine – I get it. But, I’m sorry to say you’ll have to click a link to watch it before you read on. Don’t worry, it’s worth it.

So, this video is about a year old, but it’s not going to stop me from bringing it up. Why? Well, it’s relevant for a couple of different reasons. First, when Family Guy came out in the early 2000s, I tried to tell y’all that people like Herbert the Pervert exist in real life. People thought it was a caricature, but no – that shit is real. Very fucking real. This video is evidence. Second, we need to revisit the message of “helping the kids.” That’s what this man is trying to do, and all the local government wants is to shut him down. Sad!

Mr. Womac is just trying to help the high school and college kids that ain’t got no money by allowing them to zipline over and jump off of 30-foot cliffs. What could go wrong? Plus, they all sign waivers!

Ask yourself: does this look dangerous?

That’s a sturdy hand-crafted wooden platform, straight as an arrow, above a 30-foot bluff.

But, if you ask me, Womac’s logic is pretty sound. “They don’t put no lifeguards at the lake.” Check. “Even if they did they’d be all the way over there if somethin’ happened.” and mate. Personally, I’m proud of the way he stood his ground, saying “no I ain’t puttin’ no lifeguards.” I have roughly translated this to mean “I’m not going to hire lifeguards.” But, I could be wrong.

The local sheriff called this a “trashy, nasty, and dangerous location.” This can mean only one thing: he’s totally jealous that he hasn’t been out to zipline. Wave to the haters, Mr. Womac! Even if they are police and government officials that can arrest you and lawyers that can sue your ass.

But, seriously, how can these reporters tell this story with straight faces? They’re fucking robots.

PS. Shout out to our readers – this is the third story that one of you guys passed along to me this week. We’re all pushing this SoBros machine uphill together. Thank you all!
