WRECKED! Joey Bosa just got laid out – just flat on his back like a pancake. That was like watching Goldberg spear a jobber back in the late 1990s. But, way worse because football is not a scripted entertainment bit. Coby Fleener just sheer out-willed Bosa as if he was a child.
But, the amazing thing is that Bosa is a damn disruptive force on the defensive line. He was the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year for crying out loud! They don’t just give that out to anyone. It legit looks like Bosa is going to eventually be one of the elite pass rushers in the whole freakin’ league. But, that sure doesn’t protect him from the mighty Coby Fleener.
Seriously – you might expect this from say a Rob Gronkowski or Delanie Walker. But, Fleener? Man, I wouldn’t have seen that coming.
Quick question, though: is this the play of Fleener’s career? Too soon? Too soon. Just had to throw in a cheap shot on Fleener after that year I drafted him to be my TE1 in fantasy football.
Regardless, I’m ready for the real football to start. No more preseason, and no more training camp either. I’m talking to real hard hitting stuff, but not so hard that people get concussions. Or, you know what, screw it – it’s not my body. Let’s pass out concussions like candy! It’s football season!
