Damn! Ben Mcadoo’s Halftime Speech Has Me Ready to Run Through a Brick Wall!

Before this season started, the New York Giants were thinking Super Bowl. And, why not? They were 11-5 last season before partying on a boat ultimately led to a first round exit from the playoffs. That high dollar defense remained intact, and they still had their offensive genius head coach, Ben McAdoo, calling plays. The rest of the NFC East looked a little underwhelming, so people were starting to clear off the shelf for another Lombardi Trophy.

So, fast forward eight weeks into the season, and the Giants are 1-7. I’m pretty sure at least 17 wide receivers are out for the season. Eli Manning has the arm of a four year old, and his offensive line is basically just five traffic cones. Things really couldn’t be going much worse for the G-Men. So, what’s a head coach to do? How do you get your team to keep their chins up and perform week in and week out? Moreover, what do you say to your team when it’s half time and the Los Angeles Rams are stomping their asses into oblivion? Well, one reporter asked McAdoo how he did just that.

Wow – look at that fiery passion! Look at the will to win just oozing from his every pore!

McAdoo looks like he’s lost a part of his soul to this season. Like, that’s the look of a man who is at least partially dead inside. I don’t know if the players have given up on him or the season or what, but after that spanking yesterday, it’s officially official: the Giants are one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Just a reminder: pitchers and catchers report in 99 days.
