We’ve often criticized people for getting carried away with their dogs. Y’know, just treating them like they’re baby humans and all. Taking them everywhere they go. I’ve just never really understood it. Well, folks – I’m here to say that I’ve changed, and it’s all because of this dog birthday party.
Here’s a link in case Instagram takes our post down.
That just looks like so much fun. That’s the kind of soul-restoring fun you can’t get from snorting cocaine and putting down pitchers at the Donelson Bowl. Dogs are excellent at connecting with people, and that’s something no amount of booze can provide.
On the other hand, though, this video did kind of make me think of less of myself. I happen to think McDonald’s cheeseburgers are delicious, and here these people are feeding them to their dog and her friends. Like, am I eating dog food?
Is this some sort of passive aggressive jab at us low-lifes who eat McDonald’s? Or, is this totally fair? I’m a grown ass 31-year-old man…maybe it is time to give up the fast food. When I was in between jobs back in 2013, I used to work at my dad’s shop to make ends meet, and every time I wanted to go grab a McDouble for lunch, my dad would chide me, citing, “that’s children’s food.”
Well, now, according to these people, McDonald’s isn’t even suitable for children. It’s dog food. And, I guess that means I enjoy dog food. Wow. Even at my advanced age, I’m still learning new things and discovering myself.
Sorry, I feel like we’ve spiraled this post out of control talking about McDonald’s. Just remember that my main point here is that I could use some more dog friends.
