I know it’s only March, ladies and gentlemen, but we have a strong contender for interview of the year. Last night, during the Sixers game, a sideline reporter asked Allen Iverson for his thoughts on the franchise. And, man oh man – he was blatantly obviously not in any shape to go on live television.
As usual, here’s a link to the post in case Instagram takes this down.
Allen Iverson with the interview of the year.

Yeah, AI is blowed the fuck up. I haven’t seen anyone this obviously high on live television since Ron Dayne at the Heisman ceremony. But, hell – at least they didn’t put a microphone in front of Ron Dayne’s face and start asking him questions that were too hard to comprehend like, “what do you think of this team?”
The thing is – I actually followed along with quite a bit of what Iverson was trying to say. Not all of it, but a lot of it. You could just see the gears turning at a lower speed than is usually human possible. That’s all.
Hey, while we’re at it – shout out to AI for that run with the Memphis Grizzlies.
