We Haven’t Talked Enough About Jon Robinson’s Vest Game

Everyone knows what a bona fide badass Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson is at this point. I mean, he’s the wheelin’ dealin’ sonofagun who turned a fourth round draft pick into two serviceable years from DeMarco Murray…errr….one really good year and a ‘meh’ year. The guy traded down two years ago and still landed an All-Pro right tackle in Jack Conklin.

He’s just an all-around champion of men, and Titans fans all over Tennessee have responded well to the work he’s done so far. But, take a look at this photo of Robinson at the NFL Scouting Combine last week:

Phenomenal. That is hot ass fire as the kids are saying these days. It’s something we don’t talk about enough: J-Rob has an underrated fashion fastball. You see him on the sidelines all the time, rocking his A+ suit game. But, even in a more casual environment, Robinson still brings the heat. People need to talk about this like STAT. Someone call up ESPN and whoever is in charge of those 30 for 30 features – we need to do one on Jon Robinson and his fashion fastball ASAP.

At a time when we’re measuring basically every body part and every possible activity the human body can perform, I think we should turn the camera around and evaluate those doing the evaluating as well. Robinson deserves some serious credit for always being the best dressed guy in the room. Period. Hands down.

Never knew J-Rob was a vest guy, but he managed to find one that screams two-tone blue. It’s the perfect shade, the pattern is chiq, and the collar is so elaborate it just oozes charisma. If we’re drafting general managers based on their fashion sense, give me Robinson #1 overall and it’s not even close.

Who better to represent this team and this city than this guy? In J-Rob we trust.
