Malcolm Butler to the Titans for the Low Low Price of Just $61 Million

Malcolm Butler is going to join the Tennessee Titans. This is not a drill. I repeat….the former New England Patriot and Super Bowl hero is going to join Jon Robinson and Mike Vrabel in Nashville. This ought to round out a pretty damn good secondary that also includes Kevin Byard, Logan Ryan, and Adoree Jackson. I thought fortifying the cornerback position might be a priority this offseason, but holy shit, I didn’t think I’d see this dollar amount coming…

All you people bitching on Facebook happy now? Pretty sure the Titans just backed up the Brinks truck to Butler and said, “take it all! The whole damn thing!” Y’all complaining about Robinson not going after big name free agents better not say another damn word. They just gave this guy a MONSTROUS contract.

That is an outrageous amount of money. Are we even sure Butler’s worth half of that?

Don’t get me wrong – the guy’s good at what he does, but holy shit. I just can’t get over that number. Okay, Stoney…breathe….try and break this down. Let’s get some real football analysis in with this breaking news.

Here goes.

I think Malcolm Butler is good at football and will be good at football for the Titans now.
