Official WrestleMania 34 Predictions

It’s coming up on Sunday – let’s not waste time. You’re here for the WrestleMania 34 predictions, so let’s hop to it.

Big Natural’s WrestleMania 34 Predictions

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal – Heading into last year, I was really banging the drum for the battle royal. Thought it was a cool way to push someone – look what it did for Cesaro in 2014 and Baron Corbin in 2016. But, it could also be used as a nice career achievement type award – see Big Show in 2015. But, man – that all changed in 2017. I was willing to give Mojo Rawley a shot. But, they never did anything with him. In hindsight, that match was all about getting Gronk involved.

So, really – I have no idea what to expect this year. They could go in any number of directions, and I don’t think it really matters. I’d love to see Woken Matt Hardy get the W and parlay it into some weird Woken connection with Andre The Giant. But, it’d be cool to see a new guy get it and turn it into a U.S./Intercontinental Championship feud. Tye Dillinger? Or, hell – give it to Curt Hawkins like our guy Mose said. Official Prediction: Baron Corbin. The resurrection starts Sunday.

Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal – Unlike the Andre battle royal, we have no history to base a prediction off of. I still like to think that it’s going to go to an up-and-comer to help give her a push. Official Prediction: Ruby Riott.

Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali – This match is going to be pure gold. That’s not really a bold prediction. But, since Triple H has taken over 205 Live, it’s given this title a significant boost in prestige. Would’ve loved to see it on the main show, but which match to you cut and pull to the kickoff show? I get it. Still, Alexander was one of the big signings from that initial Cruiserweight Classic group. People thought this division was going to be built around him. I’m confident that this is finally his moment. Official prediction: Cedric Alexander.

United States Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev – Honestly, it’s the only match on the card that has me like, “meh.” I could see this going in favor of any man in the match. I expect a lot of titles to change hands on Sunday, so wouldn’t be surprised to see Orton retain. They could always give Jinder or Roode another chance. Ultimately, I think they reward Rusev for being a big merch seller and asset to the ‘E. Official prediction: Rusev.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The Usos vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers – Happy for New Day and The Usos getting rewarded for that fire ass feud they had last year. But, if SmackDown wants to keep their tag division from getting stale, they’ll put the straps on the Bludgeons and ride this thing on out a few months. Official prediction: The Bludgeon Brothers.

Raw Tag Team Championship: Braun Strowman & ????? vs. The Bar – I don’t know who Strowman’s partner is going to be. I think it’ll end up being Big Show, but man oh man, I am hoping it’s James Ellsworth. Regardless, I think The Bar walks away with the belts in a bit of a swerve. Official prediction: The Bar.

Intercontinental Championship: The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor – It’s a stacked card, for sure, but this one could steal the show. I think they’re going to give The Miz the record, so I expect him to retain. Official prediction: The Miz.

Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax – Whether you’ve liked the build or not (I’m kind of ‘meh’), you have to admit that this match is all about Nia getting her hands on Alexa. I honestly would not be surprised to see this match go two minutes and end as a squash to make Nia look like dominant. Think Chyna-Ivory at WrestleMania X-Seven. Official prediction: Nia Jax.

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka – I just have a weird feeling about this match. How hard is it going to be to keep Asuka’s streak going? Everyone just assumes that Asuka is going to get the strap, or that Carmella’s going to cash in. I would not be surprised to see Flair end the streak straight up. I’m not bold enough to call it that way – just a gut feeling. Official prediction: Asuka.

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon – Ah, this one’s easy. I don’t expect much of a swerve here. It’s all about Rowdy Ronda. Official prediction: Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn – A lot of ways this match can go. Either Bryan or Shane turns heel. Owens and Zayn get their jobs back straight up. I don’t know. It’s going to be good, and it’s going to be dramatic no matter what. Finally, all these months of dragging this storyline out are coming to a head. Official prediction: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn.

John Cena vs. The Undertaker – Honestly do not care. Should be a great match. If ‘Taker shows back up as Big Evil, then that’ll make for a crazy moment. But, if any man deserves to go out a winner as opposed to doing the honors, it’s the Deadman. Official prediction: Undertaker.

WWE Championship: A.J. Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – I’ve actually rather enjoyed the buildup for this match. It’s been a bit uneventful, but it’s the perfect angle for this match. Just two champions of men, the best of the best, finding out who the better man is. It’s the odds-on favorite for ‘Match of the Night,’ and though I wouldn’t be surprised to see Styles retain, I think this is Nak’s moment. Official prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura.

Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns – It’s the main event as it should be. Look, I love Nakamura and Styles as much as the next guy, but along with Rousey’s match, this is the big money match on the show. I liked the idea of basing this story off of Lesnar’s absenteeism, but it wasn’t really executed as well as it sounded. Still, it should be a brutal contest that results in the ultimate coronation of Reigns. Don’t be surprised to see this one move to a No Disqualification match or something. Official prediction: Roman Reigns.
