I Understand Beauty Trends About As Well As This Cat

Beauty trends are something that I have an incredibly difficult time keeping track of. For instance, I just learned that they have special wipes that take your makeup off. Isn’t that crazy? Can’t y’all make some sort of wipe that removes facial hair so I don’t have to shave all the time that isn’t the NHL Playoffs?

Anyway, I don’t wear my makeup. That may comes as a shock to some of you, but I swear it’s true. Actually, in what may be even more of a shock, I barely take care of my body at all. So, you can imagine my confusion when I saw this video.

I’ve never gone inside the mind of a cat, but I can tell just by looking at this one that we think alike on this issue.

As usual, here’s a link in case Instagram takes this down.

‘Wtf mum?’

Have you ever seen a cat about to break? Well, this cat’s about to break.

Honestly, I can’t say I blame it. Did you see that woman’s “face?” This looks like a scene from Silence of the Lambs or something. I don’t understand what the benefit of wearing a mask made of human skin is.

That’s what that is, right? Human skin? Again, I’m not up to speed on beauty trends. I don’t know when this started becoming a thing. But, I am just as confused as this cat….which is…..something I never thought I’d say. I never thought I’d be able to relate to a cat on such a spiritual level.

But, here we are. I look at that cat, and I say, “me too, fam…..me too.”
