Big news out of the sports world today. It looks like sports betting may become a thing, after all. For years, we’ve had to make fake bets for entertainment purposes only. Us law abiding citizens outside of places where it’s legal to bet on sports games, of course. But, now it’s looking like those of us who are very innocent and have never placed a bet illegally will be able to join in on the fun at some point in the near future!

The Supreme Court on Monday struck down a federal law that kept most states from authorizing sports betting, a ruling that is sure to set off a scramble among the states to find a way into a billion-dollar business.
The challenge was brought by New Jersey, which had said it could be ready within weeks of a favorable decision to offer sports betting at its racetracks and casinos. Other states are expected to act quickly as well.
Well, betting is the devil, so you can damn well count on Tennessee being the last state to authorize it, but hey – it’s a step in the right direction. And, if it means driving to North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, or Mississippi for a weekend, so be it. Count me in.
Been five years since we started this little media company – we’ve been trying to figure out how to take that next step, and by George, we just may have found it.
We’re just going to start betting all our revenue on football come Fall. It’s really a sound business strategy when you consider how smart all of us are.
We don’t want investors anyway – we love answering to no one but our fans. So, we can keep that going all the while being able to afford the equipment and resources we need to take the next step as a business.
Many people are excited about how fun it’s going to be, but we’re looking at this from a strict business standpoint, which is what separates us from all the rest.
Intellect.
