The 4th-ranked player in the state of Tennessee (according to Rivals), Mount Juliet’s own Reggie Grimes (Class of 2020), tweeted out earlier today that he had indeed received an offer from the University of Alabama.
Had a great camp and I’m humbled and blessed to receive an offer from the University of Alabama ❌♦️ @MJGOLDENBEARFB @RivalsWoody @CoachTBarr @npasports1 @V7Npa @grimesreginald @BuckFitz @perryt33 pic.twitter.com/vnOS6YXNQy

Alabama is just the latest team to make an offer to the four-star ATH that certainly has some enticing options on the table. Tennessee and South Carolina are both reportedly high on Grimes and have already extended offers. He’s also received offers from Vanderbilt and Memphis in-state, and a host of ACC teams that include Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech, according to Rivals.
30 tackles on defense for the 4-6A Champion Golden Bears last season to go with his 330 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. He does a little bit of everything for Mount Juliet, but most crootin’ experts project him as a defensive end. He worked out at linebacker during the camp with Clemson, too.
Our own Poppa Bear weighed in with, “saw that kid play last year. He’s a stud.” You can have your Rivals. But, if you get the endorsement from Poppa Bear, you’re good in my book.
