Pierre Carl Ouellet (PCO) has really come out of left field with this career resurgence. Since his match with Walter at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 2, the independent wrestling world has been turned on its head. The age-defying former Quebecer drew a ton of praise and adulation after his moonsault on Walter, and now the 50-year-old is out here hooking Canadian Destroyers on people.

Just unreal. Hearts out to Craig Mitchell’s family. That man was a quality wrestler, and I know that Poppa Bear will be saddened to learn of his passing. But, that’s wrestling, folks – sometimes, you die.
Back to the point, though – I couldn’t be happier nor could I be more impressed with the year PCO is having out there on the indies. Not only did he have that match with Walter, but he went on to wrestle Matt Riddle and Joey Janela, among others I’m sure I’m forgetting, as well.
He’s one of the hottest names on the scene right now and for good reason. The man can still go!
Plus, the training videos with his personal trainer, Destro, are just phenomenal. Getting shocked while shoulder pressing 200 pounds….getting spikes driven into his face. I mean, we’re talking about one tough son of a gun here, folks. But, it’s a nice throwback to the days of freakish monsters in wrestling, and it’s a testament to how wrestlers can use social media to create excellent content.
I’m a PCO guy now, and you should be too.
