Someone Went Off and Left a House Just Sitting on a Delaware Road

Crazy things are happening here in 2018. It’s just the world we live in today….well, that or just that the weird shit is more prone to being caught on camera or otherwise documented with the advent of technology over the last decade. One or the other – who really knows? For instance, let’s take this story of a mysterious home just being dumped and abandoned on a Delaware road.

Courtesy of ABC 6:

Police in Delaware’s capital city would like to know who dropped a house onto a two-lane road.

The Dover Police Department says someone abandoned the prefabricated home, blocking traffic at least until Wednesday.
In a Facebook post that had been shared thousands of times, the department posted pictures of the home and said “this is not a joke.” The house was draped with a banner that said “oversize load.”

DAMN IT, THANOS.

Couldn’t resist, sorry. That movie’s been out for two months now and I still can’t stop making Thanos snap jokes. I should probably give up that habit and move on with my life. That’s the mark of every great comedian, right? Being able to adapt with the times. But, that was just too easy.

Anyway, this is a pretty strange story.

“Why?” You might ask – well, something happened here. We know that. There’s a hell of a story here – the type that usually begins with, “well, see – what had happened was….”

But, there’s no one here to tell that tale. Like, if you just drop a house and go off and forget about it, eventually, you’re going to remember it, right?! You can’t possibly make it too far down the road before you realize there is no longer a house attached to your vehicle.

That’s why I’m not making any more jokes about this story. There’s something eerie going on. Either someone dropped that there on purpose for some unfathomable reason, or everyone involved is dead.
