I’ll be the first to say it – I root for bison. Just a big, terrifying animal that doesn’t realize its own power. They are or were endangered for a while. I could look it up but I don’t feel like being that type of journalist today. So, when I caught a glimpse of this story of a dude acting like an ass in the face of a bison, I knew I had to share it with our demo.
In a string of vacation antics that would make Clark Griswold blush, Yellowstone officials say a man who was arrested after appearing to be intoxicated and argumentative during a traffic stop was stopped again days later and cited, only to go on to taunt a bison, which was recorded in a viral video, and then arrested again.
I highly encourage everyone to click the link and read the full account of this dude’s week traveling from park to park. It’s absolutely insane. This man sounds like a complete wildcard and not in the adorable way. He’s like a walking shitshow.
But, for the purposes of this “article,” we’re just going to look at the incident with the bison:
Man, without knowing that this guy was a total douchebag all over the place, I’m rooting for that bison. The world’s a crowded place, man, and that’s just natural selection. I’m a big fan of natural selection.
But, the same reasons I love the bison are also the source of my frustration. He’s too gentle a giant. I’m not above saying that I wish that bison would’ve mowed this guy down. And, I guess that’s really the purpose and meaning behind this piece of journalism I’ve created here today.
