Conor McGregor Owns The UFC

The press conference for UFC 229: Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor was held last week in NYC and, my lord, Conor McGregor let that dick swing from bell to bell.

In actuality, he was letting it swing pre-show as the presser started almost 45 minutes late. The delay got to a point where the word was it would start whether McGregor was ready or not…lol ok Uncle Dana. Any-who, McGregor eventually made his way out with his belts and a fresh bottle of his whiskey. What’s that? You didn’t know McGregor had a whiskey company? Well, you sure as shit would know had you watched this episode of The McGregor Show.

The whiskey, Proper 12, was pushed more than the actual fight which included a Conor/Dana tandem shot (which I’m sure someone bet on happening in Vegas – Hashtag Easy Money). Can I just say anyone that drinks whiskey at the press conference for THEIR fight automatically has my support?

On the opposite side of the Irishman was Khabib with his interim title and…well…not much else.

I’m not gonna shit on Kbabib here as this isn’t his wheelhouse. He is on this planet to take mo fuckers down and punish them for 25 minutes. He’s 26-0 and, depending on who you talk to, has not lost one round of his career. Think about that for a second. The guy doesn’t cut promos…he’s too busy training in Dagestan wrestling bears and shit.

All that said, Khabib had a couple of good barbs including asking if Conor thought this whiskey was gonna help him win the fight. That’s not bad stuff, but coming from a statue like Khabib, it’s A++.

By the end, Khabib seemed super annoyed and that’s with just the press in the building. This wasn’t open to the public. Conor had a couple “Conor-isms” that would have really popped the crowd had they been in attendance. Even without the crowd, it was still a complete win for Conor. Not only is he back with a new fight deal in the UFC, buuuut we found out, in a completely shocking twist, that Proper 12 would be a sponsor for the card.

The biggest star in the organization is now gonna have his brand spanking new company’s logo all over what could be the biggest pay per view in UFC history. It’s McGregor SZN, y’all.
