I guess this is a sports site at heart and all…so maybe we should talk actually football for a second. But, I have to admit…I’m not really interested in that right now after seeing the quick wit and stylish moves from the Washington Huskies center on Saturday.
The Huskies defeated Arizona State 27-20 to improve to 3-1. This could still be a potential playoff team, but the road is going to be tough for any of the Pac-12 squads. Washington has already lost to Auburn. USC is baffling to say the least, and Stanford hasn’t exactly looked convincing. The Sun Devils were one of those upstart teams that looked early on like they might make some noise in the Pac-12. So, yeah – this was a big game.
Quarterback Jake Browning went 15-22 for 202 yards and three touchdowns. That’s more of what we expected from a guy who was at one point in his career considered a contender for the Heisman Trophy. But, like alluded to earlier, it’s their center who is stealing all the headlines, at least from this website.

Enough football talk – let’s talk about these slick moves!
I mean, people talk about mental toughness when they mention playing along the offensive line. How you have to be of a certain ilk to really play the position well. But, what people don’t talk about is the wit that it takes to so quickly think on the move like this guy did. That’s A+ cerebral action right there. It’s as if his brain and his body were moving as one.
He stepped back and pointed at the defender in one fluid movement. If I’m Todd McShay, I’m factoring this into my NFL Draft evaluation of this kid. If you drafted a guy based on moves alone, this kid would be a first round pick. No bones about it.
The best reply to this tweet, though?
