Welcome all degenerate gamblers back into my weekly American football column, Tank the 401k. Here, I will divulge all my professional eagle-eyed opinions on the upcoming week. Call your bookie and empty those retirement accounts!

We EATIN’ right now, y’all. I’m on a 10-0 run in the last couple of weeks, so if you wanted to bow out before the shit can possibly hit the fan, now might be the time to do it. Otherwise, let’s keep this thing going. It’s time to get rowdy.

BIG NATURAL’S TANK THE 401K PICKS

NCAAF: California @ Washington State, OVER 51 – The Cougs have shown a propensity for playing close games in the Pac-12 this season, so I don’t know if I’m buying that 10.5-point spread. Cal’s not a bad team, as they showed when they upset Washington last week. So, I think they’re capable of scoring, and we know how the Running Mike Leaches can put up points. The over is the safer play here.

NCAAF: Oregon -7.5 vs. UCLA – I like the Ducks at home against an underwhelming Bruins team. Don’t let last week’s ass-beating fool you. This is still a good Oregon team.

NCAAF: South Carolina PICK, @ Ole Miss – The Gamecocks were supposed to be one of the surprise teams of the SEC this year, but honestly, I still don’t think they’re over that loss to Georgia. They’re battling for a bowl game, but in this contest, I think they’re notably better than the Rebels.

NFL: Carolina -6.5 vs. Tampa Bay – I do think the Panthers are a Super Bowl dark horse, but this pick is more about the mess that the Bucs are in. Is the guy Jameis Winston? Is it Ryan Fitzpatrick? Does it matter? They still found themselves competing with a good Bengals team, but I think the Panthers are going to roll all over them on Sunday.

NFL: Miami -3 vs. New York Jets – I’ve thought the Dolphins were underrated all season and I’m going to keep riding that. I like how competitive they are, and they still have a chance at the playoffs in a wide open AFC. This is a potential trap game, but I think they handle business at home.

W-L Record: (7-1-1)
Last Week: (5-0)
On the Season: (32-11-1) – 74%
