Podcast: Phone It In, Ep. 01 – Self-Awareness

Alright, y’all. Get set – we’re launching a new show here on SoBros Network: Phone It In. The star? Our very own Rubber Rooster. The premise? We don’t fuckin’ know – just going to talk about real shit from real life. It’s called Phone It In because Rubber Rooster lives in San Diego, so I have to phone her in to do podcasts. Get it? Anyway, I’m real fuckin’ pumped to release episode one. Our topic is self-awareness.

It’s something you might not think about (heh), but is one of the most important tools you can use to better yourself as an individual – and when I say “better yourself,” I don’t mean finding success based on society’s bullshit definition of it. I mean “how do you define your happiness, and how do you get to it?”

Rooster is a wealth of knowledge and wise beyond her years – I always felt like we were wasting her powerful voice by having her talk about Russian cemetery brawls, sex robots, and the stupid shit we talk about on The SoBros Podcast. So, I was eager to get her involved in this. She’ll explain some of the basic principles of self-awareness, mindfulness, and steps you can take to become a more self-aware person.

Plus, we talk about our backgrounds a bit, reminisce about completely self-UNaware colleagues, and lash out at the phony uncomfortable nature of corporate culture’s involvement in mental health.

Listen, and we’ll also answer the important questions: did everyone go through a Buddhist phase in high school? How can a grown ass adult take a shit and leave poop on the toilet seat?

“I don’t care that I’m a rude bitch.” -Rooster
