I have been creating content for five and a half years now. Yet, somehow, over the course of that period, I never heard the tale of Poop Johnson. That’s defensive tackle Cory Johnson in case you didn’t know.
Johnson made big time CFL headlines last week when it was announced that he had signed with the Toronto Argonauts.
The Toronto Argonauts have signed international defensive lineman Cory ‘Poop’ Johnson, the team announced Wednesday.
Johnson, 26, has played 25 games over two seasons for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and recorded 28 tackles and five sacks. Before joining the Bombers, the South Carolina native spent the off-seasons of 2016 and 2017 with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs respectively.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound interior lineman played two seasons at the University of Kentucky (2014-2015) and tallied 77 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery in 18 games.
….yeah, all that and HIS NICKNAME IS POOP.
The man’s nickname is POOP! And how did he earn it? Because he beats the poop out of people? NOPE – it’s literally because he poops so much. Apparently, he poops about five times a day and that causes his weight to fluctuate wildly.
Can you imagine pooping five times a day? Can you imagine pooping so much that your weight fluctuates between TWENTY POUNDS ON A DAILY BASIS?!?! I hope he has a decent toilet.
Also, I’m mad at you guys.
How could y’all let me write the kind of shit I write on this website for so long without introducing me to Poop Johnson?
