I was fortunate enough to sit down with our Lead Film Critic “Nature Boy” Brandon Vick last night to record Episode 22 of Brandon’s Box Office In Your Mouth. We chat about our favorite non-Disney animated movies and offer up a preview of the 2019 Oscars, taking place THIS Sunday (2/24/19).
First things first, Brandon offers up his quick reviews of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. That gets us into the larger discussion of some of the best non-Disney animated movies ever made. Believe it or not, there are plenty!
Then, we shift gears to talk about Sunday’s Oscars ceremony – who thinks Brandon will win, who’s been taking home the hardware so far during awards season, and the changes (or actually more like attempted changes) the Academy has made to make the viewing experience better.
