It’s official! The Tennessee Titans 2019 schedule has been released. We’re a week ahead of the NFL Draft, and it seems like a completely random time to release this information, but whatevs. We’re here now regardless. Only the rest of spring and the entirety of summer to go before professional damn football is BACK!

Cleveland BOOOOOOIIIIISS – where y’all at?!?! Kicking off the season against each other?!?! Justin and Jack – you guys better get ready for all the friendly wagers you can handle. Seriously, though – I’m pumped that we get the first crack at this new look Browns offense. This is going to be a game between AFC dark horses to kick the season off.
We get some divisional games early, hosting the Colts in Week 2 and going to Jacksonville for a prime time showdown with the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football in Week 3. I swear – it’s fuckin’ clockwork at this point. Death, taxes, and Titans-Jags on TNF.
We’ll finally be able to settle this stupid ass beef with #BillsMafia on 10/6. Playing the Texans twice in three weeks to close the season is a bit weird. Don’t see that too often, and it’s possible the division comes down to December yet again as it should be even more stacked than it was a year ago.
All in all, this is a completely manageable schedule for the Titans – if they don’t get back to the postseason, there may start to be some rumblings for change next offseason. They get their toughest opponents at home in the Saints, Chiefs, and Chargers. What is their toughest road game? The Colts? Other than that? The Broncos? The Falcons? Of course, we never know who’s who until the season starts, but in April, this appears to be shaping up favorably.
To quote Bart Scott, “CAN’T. WAIT.”
