Tennessee Titans First Round Options: Garrett Bradbury

The 2019 NFL Draft takes place April 25-27 this year, emanating LIVE from right here in Nashville, Tennessee. As it stands, the Tennessee Titans have one first round draft pick. General manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Vrabel currently hold the 19th overall selection. Over the next few weeks, your boy “Big Natural” Stoney Keeley will be taking a look at some of the prospects who are either rumored to be tied to or who make sense for the Titans.

The interior of the offensive line was one of the biggest disappointments of 2018 for the Titans. Quinton Spain and Josh Kline are no longer with the team. The Titans signed Roger Saffold to come in and play left guard, and while the right guard spot is TBD, the overhaul of the unit continues. I don’t think Ben Jones is necessarily safe either. He had a down year with the rest of the interior line, and he ain’t gettin’ any younger. So, it stands to reason that the Titans could be looking at an athletic lineman who could play RG, C, or both. Enter Garrett Bradbury.

The former NC State standout was a consensus All-American in 2018 in addition to winning the Rimington Trophy, designated annually to college football’s best center. He was first-team All-ACC to boot – as accomplished a center as you’ll find in college football.

Bradbury started out as a tight end, so he’s athletic. Great body control, fluidity, good with his hands. At 6’3″, 306, he doesn’t have the typical size you look for in a mauler. But, by my eyes, he’s about as flawless a center prospect as you could ask for.

He’s a versatile player who is poised to make an impact right away. Bradbury has soared up draft boards and now some are saying he could be a top 20 pick. Even if there is an elite defender there at #19, I wouldn’t complain one bit about drafting Bradbury to solidify the offensive line.
