Brett Ison vs. Allie Kat Official for SUP Bonestorm Title

Brett Ison vs. Allie Kat will officially go down for the Southern Underground Pro Bonestorm Championship at “Those Who Fear Tomorrow” in Nashville, TN on 6/2.

After a bitter feud with childhood friend Righteous Jesse, wars against The Carnies, and a variety of brutal beat-downs to members of the locker room, Ison established himself as the king of SUP by defeating Marko Stunt for the title at “All Eyez On Me” in November. Since then, the “Pitbull” has retained his strap by pinning death match legend Nick Gage via Street Justice, fought to a controversial no-contest with longtime partner O’Shay Edwards, and he most recently put away former Evolve tag team champ JD Drake last month.

It also seems like Ison has turned the corner as of late with the SUP fanbase, transforming from hated villain to somewhat of an anti-hero. He’s done this by defending his championship against all comers, especially big names from the outside like Gage and Drake who were granted immediate title shots in their SUP debuts. Ison carries his belt with pride, along with the entire weight of the promotion on his back, and he’s worked his way to becoming “top dog” while competing on every single SUP card in history. He not only represents the company here in Nashville, but also travels across the globe, willing to put the title up for grabs against anybody that wants to throw down.

Allie Kat will be the first female (and the first feline) to ever compete for the Bonestorm Championship and she’s undoubtedly earned the opportunity.

Allie is an anomaly. I’ll be honest, the first time I saw her perform a couple years back, I was entertained, but I also thought that a “gimmick” like her’s would never work long-term, especially inside of a dive bar in East Nashville.

I’ll tell you what, she not only proved me wrong but also won over over the crowd to the point of becoming one of the most beloved wrestlers in SUP’s young existence. She’s done it through hard work and consistency, staying true to her character while also putting on great matches against all opponents. Allie has gone from the comedic (yet incredibly fun) rivalry with Josh “Slutty Kat” Bishop, to a tear-jerking battle with her trainer Tripp Cassidy, to making history against Samantha Heights in the first-ever SUP women’s match. She also holds major victories over the likes of Kevin Ku, Savanna Stone, and most recently Logan Easton Laroux. “The heart and soul” of Southern Underground Pro is riding a serious wave of momentum heading into her championship showdown.

For me, next month can’t come soon enough. I’m absolutely pumped to be live in attendance to witness these two square off for SUP’s top prize. I hope to see you there as well.
