The Friday Feel Good: Cop Saves Ducklings

Every Friday, we here at the SoBros Network like to give you a proper sendoff into your weekend. Something to make you laugh, something to make you happy, something to make you cry, whatever you want to call it. But, anyway, we figured why not give this special column a name? So, here we are, folks – it’s the Friday Feel Good. A cop saves ducklings on this week’s edition.

Wow – hard to believe it’s been two whole months since I’ve done a Friday Feel Good. I quit doing it because of some behind-the-scenes issues those of you close to the brand know about. But, after a soft reset and some re-evaluations of things, it’s safe to bring the tradition back. Maybe I won’t do this on a weekly basis like I used to, but it’s definitely something I’ll keep an eye on…

These are all very vague terms and I don’t really know why I continue to ramble so let’s just get to the ‘cop saves ducklings’ part of this Friday Feel Good:

Man, hearts out to that duck.

That is one stressed out sounding duck. I don’t speak duck, but I’d imagine it was saying something like, “oh shit! My kids is in the sewer! Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck!”

Again, that’s just an assumption, which doesn’t count as journalism and can’t be held against my reputation as a writer.

But, good on these cops for stepping up to the plate and saving the day. It was a big time clutch move – not Clutch Hall of Fame worthy – but clutch nonetheless. Now, I feel empowered to take on my weekend. How about that? I knew there was a reason I started writing this column….

Happy Friday, guys – whatever you do, stay safe out there. Celebrate life. Wave at the haters. All that stuff.
