Not a good night at the office for Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. The undefeated San Francisco 49ers absolutely drilled him last night en route to a completely dominant 31-3 win. Now, some of you may be saying that game was boring. “I’d disagree,” says the man who called the Niners his surprise team in the NFC for 2019.
This team is absolutely loaded with talent. Sure, three of their four wins have come against the outrageously abysmal AFC North. But, hey – that two-touchdown win over the Bucs looks pretty legit, right? We’ll found out whether this team is legit or not in the coming weeks. Three of their next four are on the road. Games against the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers are sprinkled in before an 11/11 showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. But, last night…..last night was something else.
See, back to Mayfield – apparently, the dude refused to shake hands with the Niners prior to the game kicking off, disrespecting one of the basic rules of the NFL. So, what is this Niners to do? They laid the damn wood.

That’s what they did. What’s not on the stat line is a lost fumble from Mayfield. That’s three turnovers if I mathed right. And, folks, QBR is calculated on a scale from 1-100. That’s a QBR of 1.4. What a fucking gut punch. Even worse, you had Nick Bosa out there mocking Mayfield planting the flag on Ohio State’s field from a few years back.

So, what have we learned here today, people? Don’t spit into the wind. You don’t tug on Superman’s cape. You don’t call Jim Everett ‘Chris’ Everett. And, you certainly do not fuck with the 2019 San Francisco 49ers.
