Revive Pro had their first taping this past Sunday with some real cool shit coming out of it. Without giving too much away, here are some thoughts I had leaving the building that night.
- Commentary with Righteous Jesse was a hoot- From start to finish, we had an absolute blast, y’all. There was plenty to discuss with some real bangers between the ropes, but I felt like there was a moment (or two) in every match that got us going. Can’t wait to get back to the booth with Jesse on December 1.
- Lutha X and Wayne Moxxi had an absolute killer match- Both guys have stepped up their games the past few months and it showed when they locked up in the ring. Back and forth offense with some real hard hitting shit coming from both guys. Without a doubt one of the matches of the night.
- The Mason Dixon Line are awesome- First time seeing these dudes live and I can’t say enough about them. They feel like a tag team straight out of the 80s and I mean that in the absolute best way possible. Silas Mason and Devan Dixon each brought that real good shit (as if it were an option being in the ring with The Movement who have been tearing it up all over the state) and got a real reaction from all of us in attendance. If you need a tag team seek these guys out!
- Brett Ison is a one man crime spree- we already knew it but the man was especially on one at this show
- Peyton Polson and Nick Traimer put in a show- Another match that is absolutely worth your time. Polson was zoned in from bell to bell and it showed being in there with a guy like Traimer. Hard not to spoil a couple of things, but I won’t so when this drops, y’all can really dive in.
- Dallas Troy took it to Uncle Byff- No doubt Byff is a name known around these parts, but Dallas is still building. This was a legit building block match for Troy. At times, this broke down to a complete brawl with Dallas committed to going toe to toe with the Hellbilly Horrorshow. I can’t wait to see where Dallas is at in another few months. The young man has some fire and I’m here for it.
- The passion of Revive Pro- Adam McCormick loves this promotion and this business with everything he’s got. Being around someone that cares as much as he does make me excited to be a part of the Revive Pro family. If you love indie wrestling, support this man and this promotion!
Creating good content is dope but being able to create good content with your friends is the most dope. Be on the lookout for Revive Pro joining the IWTV family as well as the first episode of ‘Saturday Night Reaction’ to drop very soon.
