Colts Mascot Blue Fainted After the Titans Went up 31-17

The Tennessee Titans dug themselves into a hole with costly fumbles on two of their first three drives. But, something clicked in the second half, as the team hung 24 unanswered on the Indianapolis Colts to win the game 31-17. The Colts mascot, Blue, had a legendary reaction to what would end up being the game clinching touchdown when Ryan Tannehill hit Kalif Raymond for 40 yards.

Man, this Titans team is something else. They are definitively ON ONE, y’all. And now, you’ve got opposing mascots fainting. They’re spiking blood pressure out there. Do we know if Blue is okay? Has anyone checked on him after this? Please tell me y’all didn’t just leave him out there.

To say this was a big game for the Titans would be an understatement. Not only did they need to keep pace in a competitive AFC South, but the Colts have been living in this organization’s head for the better part of the last 20 years. And early on in the game, it definitely felt like “same ol’ Titans.” They get on a hot streak just in time for a major letdown.

This time, the letdown never came. Instead, Derrick Henry got going, special teams blocked a field goal attempt and Tye Smith returned it for a touchdown, and then Tannehill hit the big play to Raymond to put it away. Sure seems like a different Titans team than in years past.

It won’t matter after today. It’ll be time to officially move on to the Oakland Raiders. But, let us soak it in just a little while longer. Finally, the Titans own a quality victory over the Colts, mascots were fainting, fans were leaving…

Ya hate to see it.
