A Quick Rant on the Cannoli

Stoney Keeley reviews a random cannoli and has no idea where it even came from, so....cool.

This one might come as a surprise to you guys, but I’m going to take some shots at the cannoli today. I know that it’s one of the most popular desserts in the world – especially when you go up to the Northeast. It’s almost a staple of the entire culture. But, I…and I cannot stress this enough…do not fucks wit ’em.

In fact, I’d say it’s easily the most overrated dessert food on the planet. Give me a handful of fucking raisins before you come at me with a cannoli. I’ve never eaten one and thought, “man, that really satisfies the sweet tooth.” I’ve eaten approximately a dozen, so I feel like I’ve gotten a decent sample size in my time. But, not a single one of them has impressed me. The filling, by and large, just tastes like nothingness, and I hate how crispy the shells are. It’s like I’m eating cotton pureé wrapped in plexiglass. I ain’t in on it. I realize a political statement like this might cost me some followers, but I always have to remain true to myself. That’s my take. That’s my brain. Deal with it.

This concludes my quick rant on cannolis.

Recently, and by recently I mean like a month ago, I was presented with a cannoli. I have no idea where it came from. My girlfriend literally just walked into our apartment when Brandon, Cadbury, and I were about to press ‘record’ on the latest episode of the SoBros Power Hour. Thankfully, we’re all wired to immediately think about content, and Cadbury whipped out that phone and started recording.

Now, we have a random cannoli review on camera.
