Andy Reid, Noted Sweetheart, Compares Grandkids to Sweet and Sour Pork

This might be the biggest game in the career of Andy Reid, and he's still out here just chill as hell talking about his grandkids and sweet and sour pork.

The Super Bowl LIV hype train is well underway as we’re gearing up for an all-time great showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday evening. It’s a big game for a lot of people, but perhaps it’s bigger for Chiefs head coach Andy Reid than anyone else.

The man has had an illustrious career in the NFL. But, he’s 14-14 in the postseason. He’s 2-5 in conference championship games (he won the NFC Championship with the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2004). Those questions about his ability to win the big one have hung over him no matter where he’s been.

And yet still, it’s 2020, and the dude is as good as ever, with a roster as talented as he might have ever had. Most importantly, he’s still out here with that same Andy Reid spirit saying things that you’d only hear from Andy Reid.

Please…I implore you…I beg of you….tell me how anyone (not currently residing in San Francisco, California) can NOT be rooting for this sweetheart of a man?!

Why are we talking about grandkids to begin with? I don’t know. It’s Super Bowl week. You’re going to hear about the color of someone’s underwear before it’s all said and done. You can only break down this game so much before you run out of shit to talk about. So, you just get into asking head coaches about their family, I guess. I don’t know. I’ve never been.

By the way, if having grandkids is like eating sweet and sour pork, then hot damn – I’m ready to be a grand pappy. Have y’all ever had sweet and sour pork? Shit is D E L I C I O U S.

This is the kind of wholesome Super Bowl content I am here for.
