It’s that time of the year, folks. Another season of NFL is in the books, and it’s time for me to weigh in with all the big bets. It’s my Super Bowl 54 Betting Guide. Of course, I have to specify that I’m not an expert and you shouldn’t make any decisions based off of my opinions. But, I did have a winning season in Tank the 401k. So, there is that.
Alright – it’s the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. LFG.
Super Bowl 54 Betting Guide
San Francisco 49ers +1 – This one’s going to be close. I can’t recall the last time I felt this conflicted about a Super Bowl. But, gun to my head, I’m going with the 49ers in what could come down to a play or two. The 49ers pass rush and Handsome Jimmy G will be the difference. People are sleeping on Garappolo because he hasn’t had to sling the ball around so far. I think the 49ers will call upon him to make some plays, he’ll deliver (see that Saints game), and this will come down to a big stop on defense against that Chiefs offense.
OVER 54.5 – With both of these offenses playing as well as they have been, I expect this one to turn into a shootout early.
Longest Touchdown: OVER 44.5 yards – Tyreek Hill. Travis Kelce. Sammy Watkins. Mecole Hardman. Demarcus Robinson. All had receptions of 44+ yards at some point this season. Need I say more?
George Kittle: OVER 70.5 receiving yards – The Chiefs allowed 961 receiving yards to tight ends this season (5th most in the NFL). Kittle, a guy who could arguably be the best tight end in the game, should be a major part of the 49ers game plan on offense.
Who Will Have More Rushing Yards In The Game? San Francisco 49ers – I mean….come on….this is easy money, isn’t it? The 49ers have averaged 235.5 rushing yards per game this postseason. The Chiefs…like….don’t run the ball. I feel like I’m missing something…this seems dumb to type out.
Total Sacks in the Game: OVER 4.5 – These two teams have recorded a combined 17 sacks in four postseason games. There’s plenty of pass rush talent on the field, so I don’t think five sacks is unreasonable at all.
