Ah, yes. The winter blues. It just comes with the territory this time of year. It’s dreary, the days are shorter so it’s dark all the time, and it’s cold. The holidays are over, so you’re not feeling the warmth and cheer associated with that time of year. It’s just a rough stretch until things eventually thaw and spring arrives.
For a lot of people, this time of year brings with it a seasonal depression that can be rather difficult to shake. If you aren’t checking in on yourself, it can turn into a more serious form of depression. So, I hope we’re all performing a little bit of that self-reflection this time of year.
